Yea! Well now you have (or should have) your entire web site ON your local
hardrive. And, you can work with it there, change it, test it, then publish
it back to the server.
What you are seeing is what you SHOULD see, a web site and all it's related
files/folders
As for your hyperlinks; I assume that you may be talking about navigational
buttons/links? Not sure, but if I had to venture a guess, you may have
wacked them by working the way you were. Just go ahead and redo them in your
local web and re-publish to the server.
You are using a top shared border, were your navs up in there? If so,
whatever is in a shared border will appear on all pages using shared
borders.
hth.

| Thanks Rob for the information but to be brutally honest with you I dont
| understand all you've come back with. I did as you said and ended up in FP
| with a screen split into two panes with a load of folders on one side and
a
| few on the other side. Now you can see how green I really am at this!! Why
| should I not open my site for editing thru IE? Before I saw your replies I
| found that I could edit through IE but of course I ran into difficulties (
| See thread "Lost all my hyperlinks!!") The latest is I have changed the
page
| theme and it looks more like the original but I still dont know how to
| restore the links to the other pages. Thanks for everyones help so far, If
I
| can get the links restored and the site back up running I think I'll leave
| well enough alone till I learn a whole lot more!
