Tim I.

I have never requested help before, but I can not figure
out how to resolve a problem with a database that I spent
a lot of time working on using Access 97.

I wanted to automate it upon startup. I went to
the "startup" option on the toolbar and, not thinking, I
clicked the check boxes off. Now when I open up the
database, I can not access the forms/reports/etc that I
spent a lot of time developing. I only get the "File,
Window, and Help" on the toolbar. I can not figure out
how to open or edit my database.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance that anyone
could give me in order to rectify my problem.

Thank you.

Disregard my request. I discovered that if I hit "Alt"
and "F1", I can get the forms, reports, tables, macros,
etc. I then copied these into a new database and
everything worked. Thanks anyhow.

You could also simply hold the Shift Key down while you are opening the
database to bypass the Startup Options... to access the standard MenuBar
when you can modify the StartUp Options... as required.
