Hi all,

I've created a database for tracking change requests at my work. Each
change request is given a sequential number. I attempted to create a report
which would allow easy viewing of the most important pieces of info regarding
each request. Now, my supervisor wants a summary at the beginning of the
report with only the name and number of each request. I've tried to create a
subform, but when I view the report, only the first line of the subform shows
up. I have no idea how to correct this. Can anyone help??

Thanks,
Sparky

Where did you put the subreport?

Which section of the report? I recommend that you do it in the REPORT header
(not page header) or you add a group to your report (set its value to =1)
and then in the group header add the subreport.

Did you set the section to Can Grow and did you set the Subreport control to
Can Grow?

The subreport is in the REPORT header. Both the Report header and the
subreport have their "Can Grow" property set to Yes.

I don't know what you mean when you say "add a group" to my report and set
it's value to one. How do I do that?

You don't need to add another group, if your report is set up the way you
said.

Is your subreport linked to your main report? In this case, it should not
be, since if it is the subreport will simply try to print the line(s) for
the first detail in the report.
