HELP! Query delete record problem...

I am stuck on a school project. I am trying to delete
all records where the description starts with "R". No
matter what I type in the Criteria box, the message comes
up the "Zero" records will be deleted. I have tried
typing "R", "Starts with R", "All R", etc. and have had
no luck. I am tearing my hair out from frustration. Can
anyone help?
