Help pwsteal.firum toasted my windows

I can't even reload or reinstall my xp!! When I first tried and got to the
cd key (and entered correct one!) it told me that it was invalid. Is there
any way I can get around it and reformat???

The usual advise is;
Are you doing the likes of mistaking 0-O, S-5 B-8
Make sure the caps-lock is not on
Don't use the shift key, it allways defaults to upper-case
