Hi to all !

I hope someone is able to help me, it seems that my printhead is
clogged... is there anyway to clean the head?
I have used several times the Epson software nozzle cleaner but without
any results.

My Epson C70 printer is only 18 months old !!

I decided to disassemble the printer and cleaned the head with a bit of
pure alcohol but after having reassembled the printer, the printed
nozzle check pattern worsened...

I have heard that they (at the service department) use a special solvent
to clean the heads, can somebody please suggest me what to use or what
to do or to try ?

I would be very grateful !

Many thanks in advance,
Michael

It is generally agreed that Windex (USA) or Windolene in the UK acts with
its ammonia content as a solvent for dye based inks. This appears to work
OKay as well for the pigmented inks you have in the C70/80/82. Quite a few
tips are here.. www.inkylink.co.uk under Epson quirks.
