I have an Intel D815EEA, which has an onboard network adapter, which XPHome
identifies as a Pro 100 VE. How do I verify this and find the best drivers?
For some odd reason, the system freezes- hard drive light remains on and the
computer goes no where- however, when I unplug the network cable, it
unlocks, and when I plug the cable in again, all is again well... sometimes,
during the night, it needs to 'reconnect' to the internet as well, it comes
up offline. I am trying to isolate the problem, and believe it just might
be the driver. That is, before I give up and simply install a NIC card into
one of the slots...
Thank you!

You might be able to verify it here,

and possibly driver here,
