I received a message during startup and it reads: "Not
enough virtual memory or paging file quota is available
to complete the specified operation" after which the
computer just shut down. Anyone knows how to solve this?

Thank you!

You'll have to ask whomever set the quota in the first place. As you have
discovered, a "quota" in Windows XP is a limit which the administrator has
placed on your use of resources.

You can try booting in safe mode. You'll need to have
adminisrative capabilities, repeatedly pump the F5 key at
boot, until the screen pops up,select safe mode from the
list(with your up-down arrows,and enter),if that works,go
to my computer,,,then right click on your hard
drive,,,properties,,,quota tab,,,uncheck the quota
box,,,apply,,,ok,,,Then restart your computer. If you can
get in safe mode you'll be able to fix it.
