With Win98 installed on a 13GB hard drive, is it possible to install Win XP and by choosing the New Installation option have Win XP create a partition in the 8GB+ free space on the hard drives. Desperately need an answer
Thanks, Old Mountain Man

Windows XP cannot create a new partition without first deleting
all existing partitions. You can use a thirty-party partitioning
program, such as Partition Magic 8, or you can perform a
"clean install" of Windows XP.

A good third-party partitioning program is Partition Magic 8.
