After attempting to uninstall CinePlayer DVD, I am getting a Windows
Installer screen which says "The feature you are trying to use is on a
network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an
alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'CinePlayer
DVD.msi' in the box below". The box says to "Use feature from:
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\_is3012\". I have been unable to find "CinePlayer DVD.msi"
on my computer. And when I searched for "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\_is3012\", I got a
screen (with a red-button "X") which says "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\_is3012\" refers
to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this
computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly
inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and
then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have
been moved to a different location."
The Windows Installer screen now appears every time I boot my computer, and
I cannot figure out a way to get rid of it. Its presence appears to be
interfering with the proper operation of my Roxio CD software.
Can anyone come to my rescue with a solution to this dilemma? I am writing
to this group, because it seems to be the windows installer that is the
problem.
