Help Please

I have created rules, which send messages from my inbox to
my deleted box. However the message is marked as unread
and is highlighted. Is there any way to have the rule to
mark the message as having being read?

If you edit the rule and where you have checked "move it to the *specified*
folder", scroll down until you see the option to "mark it as read" and check
it as well. This will move the files and mark them as read.
*I use it as well*
