I have a username which was never set up on the PC, but
only on the network. I took the computer out of the
domain and back to the MSHOME workgroup. I booted up and
get a logon to windows, but it never accepts my
password. I have a boot disk which allows me to get to
C:. Is there any way to logon or change the properties
in DOS to allow me to get my stuff? The boot disk does
not contain an image of the PC.

Please post this question to the windowsxp.network_web newsgroup.
