I have a question.....if you buy a new computer with vista already on it do
you still have to buy a CD to download/get a product key for Microsoft Office
Word 2007? Or does that come with vista? Might be a "duh" question but I'm
not too quick on computers....
Thanks

Hi,

As Richard stated, Office products have never been part of Windows, however
if you look around you may find them bundled together on some systems.
Generally they are trial versions that you can use for free temporarily,
then decide if you want the full, paid-for version. Alternative products
available would include Open Office (free to download and use), and Corel
WordPerfect.

Office is not included with Vista. The vendor from whom you purchase your
computer might offer a good price for Office, but it is not free.
