hi, i got a dell pentium3 optiplex gx 110, and i am wondering wha
kind of video/graphics cards i can use on it. thank

That will depend on your slot

Open the side cover on the computer and look at the row of slots o
the left going down. You'll notice small case covers over the bac
of the case, running down with them

Is the top slot different from the others? If not, you'll need a PC
video card

If it is different, you'll have an AGP slot

Hope this help

I used a gx110 at work for a while. In has the typical (=basic) built in Intel
graphics. There is no AGP slot, only PCI. I added a Geforce4 MX440 PCI
and I was able to use two monitor, one from each video card. If you want
to play games, find the best PCI video card you can.

Dell has a fairly good online support site:

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx110/en/ug/specs.htm

It appears that the PC has no accessible AGP slot, so you'd have to use a
PCI card. (Do *not* get a PCI Express card; it's a completely different
interface, and not compatible.)

Newegg (www.newegg.com) has a graphic card selector that is easy to use. I'm
not sure which card to recommend. One based on an nVidia Geforce MX 440 or
MX4000 might be reasonable in price, if you can live with what is basically
a Geforce 2 card.
