Ok, I am running win xp pro and when I am playing a game,
or just sitting on a webpage, when I go to click on
something, the webpage just disapears, and I end up
clicking on the desktop. Or it just reboots itself
automatically. I did a full fdisk and deleted everything,
then installed windows. It was working beautifully,
untill recently, it started rebooting itself and wouldn't
go to windows, it wouldn't shut off completely. Now, it's
starting really slow and I re-updated things, but now, it
lets me go to any webpage, except windows updates. It
loads and loads, but then page cannot be displayed. What
can I do to fix these problems? Thank you.

If it is rebooting,it should give you some sort of error
message.By default,XP does this when it encounters a
problem.Go to control panel click on system, advanced
tab,in startup and recovery section click settings, system
failure- uncheck "automatically restart".
This should get you a error message. Also check event log
for app or system errors.
Also try cooling down case with floor fan or take side
panels off to see if heat is causing your problem. Also if
you have bare min.memory installed upgrade that. Also do a
virus scan...Good luck.
