help please!

I have recently installed win 2k pro....and my adsl modem
and printer are not being recognized and are both USB...

Is it possible they are turned off somehow?can i turn
them on ?

if it's USB2 you will need to install the drivers

otherwise...check your bios to see that it's enabled
(if you have that option)
