Carol

I am at wits end here. Can anyone out there help me. I
have a vpn connection which I download from our site. It
was working then all a sudden it stopped. It will connect
for about one second then my icon goes gray. In the
monitor I get IPSec Nat Traversal: "Inactive: and
Logging: "Disabled". I get no other errors. I have
Bellsouth DSL and running XP Home SP2. I have called
bellsouth and anyone I can think of, even microsoft, and
no one has found the answer yet. Please, Please someone
out there help me. Thanks.

we need more information to help. You use IPSec Policy? How about the VPN
server?

.
Thank you for responding. My VPN:Contivity VPN Client,
V04_60.51, Nortel Networks, 128-Bit Version. I download
this from my work site. I do not use the New Connection to
set up my VPN. About the IPSec Policy? Still a novice at
this. Not sure what you are asking. In my monitor box it
says IPSec Nat Traversal Inactive. If that helps you.
Again, thank you for responding. Carol
