Hi..
In my house, we have a network with one switch and 3 desktop, 1 laptop
computers. And my laptop computer has pcmcia wireless lan card. When one of
my friends comes to my home with laptop with wi-fi connection, he/she must
connect to the home network via the wireless connection over my laptop's
wi-fi connection. so, i have to bridge these two connections... winxp
supports that but i couldn't do it. I bridged the connections but i couldn't
reach "workgroup computers"
ip address assignments are like that:
desktop computer 1: 192.168.0.1
desktop computer 2: 192.168.0.2
desktop computer 3: 192.168.0.3
my laptop computer: 192.168.0.4 (wired ethernet card's ip address)
192.168.0.5 (bridge's ip adress) (there is no ip address seen in wi-fi
card's configuration after connections are bridged)
the other laptop computer with wi-fi device (newcomer): 192.168.0.6 (wi-fi
device's ip adress)
it doesn't work?
how can i solve this?
thanks
