I am having serious problems with my home computer. Every time I connect to
the internet it crashes

‘unexpected kernel mode error trap’

Also I cannot use the links in the help files. It tells me that there is a
run time error or a script error.

As I cannot get onto the internet, I can not visit Windows Update to help
solve my problem.

I think I am right in thinking that I had a virus, but I don’t anymore, as I
have ran stinger, spy bot Search & destroy, and I also have AVG running.

I am running Windows 2000 Professional, and Office 2000.

These may help.
