help please i can't seem to figure this out.

Q! i have sp home.
i have a Sharp LL-T17A3-H monitor
every time i try to log in via safe mode it says "Timed Out". what can
i do so that it stops saying that
i tried doing the same thing on someone elses monitor and it works.
Q2 i have made some files privite and now it says that access dinied
when i try to get to them again. of course i did the privitization in
safe mode with someone elses moitor.
now if i barrow it again and get back into safe mode what do i have to
do to give myself access again. also i denined acess to the admin i
think i am not sure and i can't check.

I am sorry if I sound like i know what I am saying but I really am lost
and don't know how to fix this I gata go in the smallest baby step
possible.
 
Hi,
The Monitor does not have any thing to do with Private Folder or Access
Denied.
If the Monitor playing about it may have its day if not check your
connection cables ( Power, Data, Monitor) cables are Fitted Firmly in the
back of the Case.
Try to remember your password and log as admin in Normal Mode, why you
trying to log in Safe Mode.
Here is a link to take the ownership back from the old admin account, but
you need to create a new Acount as Admin on your machine:

Try your Monitor on the Friend machine and see if it work there.

tks this would be realy great for me but i formated my pc and now i
have xp and my monitor will only work with resolution 800X600 and
1600X1200
and i bet if i used just about any other mointor everything would work
great.

Try to download the latest of your Display Monitor Drive from the
Manufacturer not from Windows Update and install it to get the best out of
your Monitor Display Features and Pixles.
If you gone to your Device Manager and Click on the Dispaly Monitor and
Right Click and select Properties and you will see Drivers update and Roll
back etc...
If you have your Monitor as Plug and Play you didnot install the Monitor
Driver, you should install it from the CD came with the Monitor and DGo to
the Manufacturer Site and Download the Latest Version and Install it.
