Hello everybody,

Is anybody else tired of using the bottom slide-bar just to READ a web
page?
I have changed the text size to the smallest, and I still can't see
the whole page!
I've tried using Page Setup and widening the right margin to four
inches but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Maybe I'm tweaking the wrong controls?

I have Windows 2000 with a 14-inch monitor.

Thanks in advance, New

You can use HTML/XML markup code to control this if you're writing pages,
but what you're most likely seeing is that the pages you're viewing have
specific code in them to make them a specific width that is being decided by
the page author.
When viewing pages that do not have that type of code, the settings you have
changed would have made a difference.

You may want to post this same question in the
windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser to make sure I'm 100% correct

Most pages are designed for a 1024 x 768 resolution setting. If your
resolution is less then this you will have to scroll as changing text
setting or anything else in IE will not overcome the original page design.
