Help please , BSplayer doesn't work.......

Hello
I've just installed Bsplayer 086.499 , when I tried to open it I got a
message that says "Error while locating a DLL fuction"
What's the problem here ? ( by the way I have windows 98 SE )

A: The DLL is not installed
B: The DLL is incorrectly installed or corrupt
C: it's incompatable with 9x.

"The nightly build is a zip file. It contains only the .exe file and
the renderer .dll file... Install the latest version of bs player and
then install the nightly build **over it** in the same directory."

bsplayer "Error while locating a DLL function"
with quotes as shown. Please do the same for the next person!

Agreed. Do a search on the products web site at the least followed by a
Google search. Heck, Google the products site just because sometimes
it's mentioned in some little paragraph that can be easily overlooked.

If all else fails, then ask for help.

Actually, I asked Andrea to try to help the *next* person, i.e.
someone else who posts a question. Nevertheless, this is all good
advice.
