I just replaced a bad power supply with an Aspire 400W...everything was
working fine, but then the PC started shutting down randomly. I was
able to start it back up, but after the 3rd shut down it took a few
seconds before getting power.

Here is my system:

Athlon XP 2500+
MSI KT6 Delta mobo
756 Mb Ram
Geforce 128 video

Sound familiar to anyone? I was thinking maybe a I got a bad power
supply, or have a bad switch. Or possibly a misplaced switch - I took
everything apart while diagnosing the supply issue (yes, I'm a Noobie).

Thanks for your help.

Did you hear any popping sounds or smell something burning?Return the Aspire
and get something better like Fortron,Antec or Enermax.
