Need help from some of you ol pro's out there.
Just finished my first dvd burn of an old sony 8mm camcorder tape via my new
panasonic dv camcorder using movie maker 2 and sonic mydvd v5.0 LE. I
created a 1 hour movie.
Everything worked great. BUT..... When I play the dvd in my player
attached to the tv I'm stuck watching the movie from begining to end .....No
fast forward or rewind!!!!!DUH!!!
I suppose this is what "Chapters" are used for ?? But my version of MyDVD
doesn't have chapters. Anyway..... Does anyone know of a work around or
some way to organize the project so that I don't have to sit through 45
minutes of a video in order to see something near the end of the disk?
I really don't want to do much editing of the video or add music, narration,
etc. If I did, I could see buying a more advanced editing or dvd burning
software. But maybe this is the only solution????? Would appreciate the
advice.
As you might guess, I am new at this and I have about 20 hours of old family
video I want to move onto dvd.
TIA
