Aloha everyone,
I recently built up a computer and installed WinXP Pro on it. I used an
existing hard drive from my old computer as the master and a new Seagate
drive as the slave. The problem I have is that if I log into the
Administrator account, I have no problems writing to the slave drive, but
when I log into my limited user account (which is the account I normally am
in when using the computer, for security purposes), I can't write to the
drive. The error window tells me that I need to check to see if I have
write permissions to the drive or whether the drive is in use. Where do I
start to resolve this issue? If this were UNIX/Linux, it would be a snap,
but I don't have a clue as to where to look for permissions in Windows. Any
and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Right click the drive number (i.e. C:) in My Computer, select "Share and
Security" and point to the account for which you wish to grant access, and
select "full control" or other options.
