If you are booting from the Windows 2000 CD, then you will not need to
manually load Smartdrv. If however, you are booting from a diskette, like a
Windows 98 boot diskette, you will need to copy the file from the hard drive
of a computer running Windows 98 or ME. When you boot using the diskette
that has Smartdrv copied to it, from the A prompt, simply type Smartdrv. You
will get another A prompt. Then, change drives to the CD Rom, switch to the
i386 folder, and then run Winnt to start the Windows 2000 installation.
