Dear all,
I have a workstation which has been corrupted by an installation program. At
startup I am informed that system files version is not corresponding to
initial version and it request to insert Windows 2000 CD to recover original
files.
Then I inserted the original CD but, the message disapears but files did not
get overwritten cause at next startup and I have the same message even if I
leave the CD in.
Is there a place in registry to check that the LABEL CD which is seek is
corresponding to the one I have inserted ?
What is the other safe way to recover system files ? I have try the repair
option which emergency disk but no luck
thnaks for your help
