Help needed,

Not just on a query/form but help on a new database.
My wife works on a cardiopoclinic in Amsterdam.
The have some 400 patients and are getting calls from them. Ihave tried to
buildt a acces database with forms but my knowledge of Acces is very
limited.
The data is now in Excel.
Who can help me build this ??

Thanks Jan

Better be careful, Jan. There are STRICT legal requirements for
databases containing patient data in the United States, and I'm sure
there are similar or even tighter requirements in the Netherlands. You
would NOT want to bring up the wrong patient's data by mistake!

I would strongly suggest hiring a professional familiar with European
Union clinical data management experience (i.e. not me!) rather than
trying to do this on your own, or even with advice from this excellent
forum.

Spot on! I built an Access db for a private ambulance
service to record bookings of transport jobs between
various locations such as hospitals, patient's home,
school, sporting venues, etc,etc.

The data that is contained in the db is extremely
confidential and, in Australia, there are heavy penalties
if the element of confidentiality is breached.

The reason is quite simple...we are dealing with a
person's medical information and privacy, and they need to
be protected.
