i have a win2k server with xp, 2k, and 98 clients.
all users with folder redirection and profiles on server. Folders are set to
be use offline available on all client machines. i would like to set each
users' redirected folder (My documents) to be access only for that user and
administrators. i set that up with the security option on each users'
folder.

problem comes. User A and user B share the same client pc. when client A log
on and off, a synchronize error pop up, it says it can not access user B's
folder for synchronize. User A has no problem chronize its file but this is
annoying for users. Can someone help me solve this problem but with offline
file available and redirected folder only access by the %user% folder and
administrator?

Thank you

By design, when a user logs off, offline folders for any/all users that use
the workstation are synchronized.

A work around for this problem is to go into the Synchronization manager
(start->run->mobsync), and clear the checkboxes for the folders you do not
wish to synchronize. This will need to be done for each user that uses the
PC.
