When I synch my Treo, a dialog box BRIEFLY pops up warning me that a program
is trying to access my email addresses (see www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm -
which is way too technical for me) and when I try to click "no", it repels my
cursor and then disappears. I suspect a hijacker but all the sweeping,
washing and scanning doesn't fix it. Please help this not so computer savvy
user.

Ask TREO if there's an updated version of your sync program.

What's "it" in "it repels my cursor" and what do you mean by "repels"?

There are infections that will move a button away from the cursor so you
can't click it, but they're fairly old and most (all?) current AV programs
should handle them. When the pop up occurs, can you use the Tab key to
toggle between the buttons?
