When I boot up the computer I get the message ntldr missing press Ctrl Alt
Delete to restart.I then have to press esc key to get a select boot device
window, I then select hard drive from a list the computer then boots
normally. Have tried fixboot and fixmbr but these had no effect. Have even
formatted the hard drive and reinstalled xp. Once the comp has booted it
works normally. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Change Boot Device Order. To First: HDD then it doesn't mather anymore

Dont have any disks in your FDD or CD-ROM

First thing on my mind was that you have a floppy, or cd loaded
