Hello
Ive been using a lipstick camera that records to a hard disk recorder. This
produces Avi file that wouldnt initially play on Windows Media Player. WMP
advised me I was missing a codec and to download DivX MPEG-4 (DX50).
I have downloded the mentioned Codec and the file plays fine in WMP and in
Windows Movie Maker.
After if i use the split function in Windows Movie Maker then the second
clip from the split file has only the audio playing with no visual playback.
It seems as if the codec is only attached the beginning of a file and when
you split the clip the codec doesnt travel across to the new clip.
Can any one provide any help or advice on how to work around this
