HELP-no data showing on cd

I have a strange problem where the data I've copied to a cd does not show up
on another computer. It shows up fine in the cdrom of the computer I've
copied it on. I assume the drive is working correctly because I can install
programs from it with no problem. I've also set the writer to read on any
computer before ejecting. Is anyone familiar with this problem and how to
fix it?

Some old cdrom drives can't read data if the session isn't finalised
 
Also if the CD ROM drive which is trying to read it is quite old, it could
be incomatible with the media used...
 
Perhaps the other computer needs a UDF Reader
installed. Adaptec has a download available.
