Hi, i just recently installed VB 6.0 and Sourcesafe 6.0 onto Windows XP.
Unfortunately, now my .NET project are using VSS 6.0 for source control
instead of VSS 2005 which it was which it was previously using. Is there a
way to tell the .NET IDE to use Sourcesafe 2005 only?

Thanks!
John

You can't install VB6 on top of .NET. You need install VB6 first
and .NET next. But I am not sure if SS6.0 is compatible with .NET SS.
We use .NET SS to store VB6 projects.

John,
Open Project, go to . Tools - > Options - > Source Control - >
Plug-in Section. Over here you will have option of setting Source Safe.

Also I have machine with VB 6 installed after .Net Framework and everything
works fine with me.

Mayur, can you tell me specifically where to change the version? In "Plug-in
selection" there's a dropdown called "Current source control plug-in" with
options of None, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
(Internet). But none of those change the version of SS from 6 to 2005.
Thanks!
John
