HELP needed with WinPVR video capture card

I just bought a WinPRV Vista713X card and the when I do a video
capture of my camcorder, captures great but NO AUDIO.
mY camcorder is an old model that uses a standard A/V single plug
coming out of the camera but with a RCA plug on the other end.
I"m thinking a might need a cable with two plugs on the end (RCA & a
audio plug).

Any help is appreciated.

Can you provide a link to the product page for "WinPRV Vista713X" ?
I cannot find it.

Composite and S-video, don't have audio in them. Audio is carried
separately.

The capture chip itself, is documented here. SAA7134 is a member
of a family of chips. Thus the "713X" in some driver documentation.
If you read the part number on the main chip of your card, then
you may get some idea of its capabilities.

  What would be more to the point is, What is the make and
model of the camcorder.  Then we might find out how it
provides audio.

The camcorder is a SHARP VL-E780U.
It has only one A/V output and it uses one of those small double male
plugs.
This model is to old to have S-Video,Firewire or USB.

I tried Sharpusa, but couldn't find a manual.

They offer "accessories", and of course the model number works
if you want to buy something :-) No sense though, providing support,
because that doesn't generate the dinero.

QCNW-1448TAZZ is listed as an A/V cable for the camera. Of course, Sharp
doesn't offer a picture of it. I found that cable for sale here.

It looks like the camera has a 1/8" stereo jack on its end. And the
cable has two RCA connectors on the other end. My guess would be
one connector is composite video, and the other is monophonic audio.

While this manual is not for the camera in question, it does show
the cable in use, on PDF page 31. Yellow is video, white is audio.

 Impressive as always Paul.

So now it does look like the OP has the wrong A/V cable for
his camera.  Once he has the proper A/V cable, he can check
his WinPVR manual or setup documentation to find which of
the stereo (red&white) RCA jacks is the default for mono input.
If mono input is not provided for, he can get a simple RCA "Y"
adapter, so that he can provide the audio to both of the WinPVR's
audio input jacks.

thanks for the research.
That's what I was afraid of.
Just for this project, I bought a video capture card with a RCA video
input jack on the back but the audio input is the small plug type and
not a RCA type.

Well, Radio Shack carries things like this stereo 1/8" plug to two
RCA female jacks. They have various gadgets, to bridge between the
RCA connector world, and the other standards. I use one like this
adapter, to get sound into the computer, from RCA equipped
devices like my mixer/amp.
