help needed with taskbar

Hi,
This is Rajeev Tiwari from Indore, M.P. India. I am 59 yrs. old and have learned computer by self trial and error.
These days suddenly I am facing a new problem that when I minimize a window it's icon doesn't in the appear in the task bar at the bottom. I have learnt that it can be retrieved by pressing 'Alt' & 'Tab' buttons. This does work, but choosing the window at the bottom task bar is still convenient as I can see all the windows.
Can someone kindly show me the way out?

In Windows 7, right click on the bottom task bar. Click on Properties. In the Taskbar tab go to Taskbar Buttons and click on the drop down button which gives three options. Click Never Combine which will then appear in the box.

Then click on Apply at the bottom right. This should ensure (if I understand your problem correctly) that all minimised pages will appear individually in the bottom taskbar.
