I am having a problem interracting with the user using RDP from one
computer to another. I can logon to a remote computer without a
problem but it suspends their access while I work on their machine.
Doesn't RDP allow me to interract with the user? These are all Windows
XP / SP2 machines.

This is the way things work with WinXP. If you want concurrent
access then you need to use a product such as WinVNC.

It won't suspend their access if you log in as them, but you still won't
"share" the same desktop.

Sounds like you might want Remote Assistance, not Remote Desktop. The latter
is "one at a time" and isn't interactive.

I presume this must be invoked by the user then and is not like
RealVNC or TightVNC where the program runs as a service and I can
interractively connect whenever necessary without the user's
intervention, right?
