Uncle Vinnie

Hi, using XP Home....

This weeks update is causing all sorts of problems...

When accessing contacts in Outlook 2000, I often get errors - example 'To
help prevent malicious code, objects were not loaded.. etc...

Also, when accessing parts of a Joomla website, via admin, certain static
pages are not being displayed...

You probably need more info from me, please let me know and I will provide
it...

thank you!!

most of the time
windows will recreate
a restore point prior
to installing updates.

therefore, you might
want to initiate a system
restore point that was
done a few minutes before
the updates were installed.

you can also utilize safemode
to initiate a restore point as
well.

Yes.. that is all set so I can go back.. which is great..

Here is what I found, btw:

I uninstalled KB960715, Security Update/Killbits.. and all is working fine
with Outlook 2000 (as for IE, forget that for now, it seems that it's a
problem with a particular site...).

So I need to find out why there are errors when I find a contact....or, live
without the update...

?????????

unfortunately, I can't provide
any suggestions regarding
outlook2k, since it is old
version.

keep in mind that newer
versions are improved, known
bugs are fixed and new
features are added in as well.

---------

outlook is a full fledge email
program that is integrated
with ms word.

now a days, a rarely use outlook
and instead use live mail regularly
or outlook express infrequently.

-----------

in any case you could continue
the analysis of your issue by
posting questions to the appropriate
discussion groups.

for outlook and contacts:

for updates:
