HI,

I am having loads of trouble trying to fix this email link that someone
had previously done.

If you go here you will see a red lounge in the middle

http://www.totalpm.com.au/fineseat/index.html

When you click that red lounge you will see a larger red version of the
image.

When you click on that you will see a yellow Email button at the top.

When clicked it shows the folder contents, and not an email link.

The image link address is this,

http://www.totalpm.com.au/fineseat/chairs/banjo/mail/

but I am not sure what to place in the mail directory that will initiate
an email.

Unfortunately there are hundreds of these images/email links and if
possible a global email to address all directories would be the way to
go, if this was possible.

Can I get any assistance here please?

Thank you

Rock

That's not an email link, it's a link to a folder.

to create a link that opens an email client, right click the Email image,
select hyperlink properties, and click Email Address on the left side
of the hyperlink dialog.

Thank you Steve,

Yes I know that what it is, however there is an .eml file in most of
those mail folders, for example this one.

http://www.totalpm.com.au/fineseat/chairs/banjo/mail/banjo high back clerical.eml

When in FP and I open this link, I get that chair page with all its info
set out as an email in the Outlook client.

I don't see this same reaction when I do it in the browser, as I get
what you did, the folder.

It is very confusing as there has to be an answer that shows one can
send an html of a chosen page. The .eml file is that pre-set out file.

Thanks thus far.

Delete all the .emls
- not supported by all browsers
- many user block any html emails
- it only opens in Outlook if the file is opened on your local PC

Instead use a script to send them the page URL of the page in plain text as a link to go to
See http://javascript.internet.com/page-details/send-this-page.html
