Hi all,
I run FrontPage 2000 training and am having a network permissions problem.
My students use Win98 client, and FP 2000. I have just implemeted network
home folders on a win2k server for the students so I can move away from
local files. If a student tries to access files in a web stored in their
home folder, they get,
An error occured accessing your Frontpage web files. Authors - if
authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this
servers site. Webmasters please see the server's system logs for more
details.
The webs are NOT published, and the webs themselves open fine
(Files>OpenWeb>homefolder>example1web). I think this is definitely a
permissions issue, as it all works fine from a win2kpro client.
Unfortunately, upgrading is not an option at this time. Anybody know what
permissions I have to set to get this to work?
Thanks in advance,
Dave
