help! my outook 2003 closes unexpectedly

my outlook 2003 has begun to close unexpectedly. it happens when idle but
also happens when i'm in the middle of composing an email. i cannot
determine a consistent trackable activity that causes it to happen.
i need help!
what is happening and how can i fix this?

What does it say in your Event Viewer

i don't know what an "event viewer" is.

when it closes, it just closes...disappears.
then i when i open up outlook again i get a message that my personal folder
file was not closed properly and it checks to see if it is ok.
then opens like normal. and eventually closes again on its own
accord...once again.
the cycle repeats.

I've got the same issue on 2 users so far. Nothing in the event logs
regarding this??? Anyone got any ideas?
