Help! My movie maker won't run

Help! My movie maker won't run. I've purchased Microsoft Plus and installed
it but all I get when I try to run Movie Maker is the following error
"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience." Please tell Microsoft about this
problem...blah...blah..

And of course I can find no help with their support. When I go through
their support it says it doesn recognize my product ID. Typical.

Has someone had this problem before? Would appreciate any and all help.

Just wondering...did you install Plus! DME or
SuperPack?

Are you saying Movie Maker was running
correctly before you installed Microsoft Plus?

Does Movie Maker close while you are working
on a project or does it fail to launch?

Have you read the following article:

Does Microsoft Plus run correctly?

Maybe uninstalling Microsoft Plus or doing
a System Restore to a time before it was
installed would help.
