I'm not an OS person but I know that the way to get "help" in a newsgroup is
to post a _specific_ question or detailed description of your problem.
Include the exact text of any error messages you get. If you disagree with
some advice (I've posted wrong answers occasionally) then politely respond
to the question with your take on the poster's question.
