HELP! MOVIE WON'T SAVE!

I have spent countless hours creating a movie that is about 40 minutes long.
I have PLENTY of free disk space, none of the source files are missing, but
the darn thing just won't save as a movie file. It doesn't even BEGIN
saving, and gives me know reason why. Does anyone have any suggestions?
HELP!!!!!
