When using automovie to create a video, the software stops responding when
analyzing music gets to 100%. I've tried using a .wav and a .mp3 file, and
both cause MM2 to stop hang.

I've even left it overnight only to find it still sitting at 100% during
analyzing music.
Any suggestions?

I am running WinXP SP2 on a 1.7Ghz P4 processor with 256Mb of ram and Sound
Blaster Audigy 2ZS.

It never gets past Analyzing Audio. The mp3 is 4 min 12 sec. long. I've
tried it in .wav format too. All i have is 134 picutures layed out in the
timeline for 2 seconds a piece no transitions. But the program never gets
that far. It gets to 100% of analyzing the music file and just sits there.

Sorry for delay in getting back.
What format are the pcitures?
Jpeg often causes trouble adn you may find you need to use a bitmap format.
First though I'd try, using the wav audio and not mp3, splitting the project
down into say 4 chuncks and see what happens when you try that.

I got so tired of waiting for replies and suggestions, I just went ahead and
made the movie with Sony Vegas. I just wanted to try it out for quicknes,
but MM is a piece of garbage. I'll stick to my professional editing software
and techniques.
