PLease help. I have a Ropland SC88 connected via standard gameport. I have
enabled midi in BIOS. Sibelius and Cubase and so on play the SC88 fine -
Lovely sounds.

I also have an Evolution mk-49 Keyboard controller. If I plug this straight
into The sc88's input agin fine lovely sounds. But if i plug it into the
input for the gameport's midi cable, no input is registered in any midi
software. Sibelius again plays the SC88 fine if I load up a pre prepared
score, so I know the ins and outs are connected correctly, but when pressing
record, no midi input registers at all with the software

Help please

As I don't know the Evolution mk-49 and you provided no link, I tried to
find out about it using Google. I'm under the impression that you may be
able to help yourself that way, looking for "mk49" as well.
