I have windows XP sp1. IE 6. Ever since I have had this
computer the HELP button in print preveiw hasn't worked.
I beleive this is part of IE 6. I have all updates and
patches current(except a couple that I really don't think
I need). I retored my computer the other day , and this
was the first time it worked. I installed windows updates
(about 15-16). I kept checking periodically to see if it
still worked. Somewhere around the last 1-5
patch/update installs it stopped working. I called
Emachines and the guy said that the computer he was
working on didn't have it functional either. Is this a
known issue, why hasn't it been fixed in almost a year
(or more)????? please help.

It does not work for me either. It's probably a very low priority. There's
not much you can do in that window, anyway. What's your problem?

.I'm somewhat new to computers, so I'm learning. Having
the help menu there would be helpful. It puts up exactly
the info pertaining to what options you have in print
preveiw. The page is hard to find in the regular
internet explorer help. plus, with uneducated service
personal taking calls at many computer manufacture's call
centers, they automatically think your computer has a
seriuos problem. This help menu problem,
caused "Emachines" tech. support to have me do a full
restore on my computer, with the resore CD's, the first
time I told them about it. Microsoft should at least
have one article in there knowledge base saying they are
aware of this, so it doesn't cause undo attention or
worry, there are much lesser problems in the KB. This is
right on the interface. I have been aware of it for a
year, don't you think they should have some explanation
of being aware of it? Even if it wasn't fixed yet. What
do you think?
