I JUST SAID I DIDN'T WANT TO SAVE MY 3 PAGE 1000 WORD
ESSAY ON WORD. IT'S A LITTLE IMPORTANT, AND TOOK AN HOUR'
OF TYPING... IS THERE ANY WAY IN HELL TO GET IT BACK...
LIKE A CACHE OR SOMETHING?

Hi DJ

First off, please don't use all caps - it's the equivalent of shouting in
here and makes it difficult to hear what you are saying.

If you have saved the document at all during the last hour, then you should
find the work up to that point in the file. If you have word set to 'Always
create backup copy', then you should also have the previously saved version
in a file with .wbk extension.

If you just started with a new document and carried on typing, then closed
without saving, you've lost an hour's work and will have to do it again.
(There are utitilities around which may rescue stuff from memory or
'deleted' files, but you'd spend a lot longer than an hour finding and
installing such a beast, with no guarantee of success.)
