My second hard drive is making a strangte clicking noise and the computer doesn't even reckognize that it exists. I was hoping that someone would know how to shut it up. If someone also knew how to get the computer to recognize it that would be a plus, but first I just want this thing to stop clicking. At some point the drive was functional and then something went awry. All of the physical connections to the drive seem fine. Thanks for your help.

The drive is faulty, it needs to be replaced.
When they start making noises it means something is wrong, if it is under
warranty then get it replaced, if not then your up for a new one.

You could try the manufacturers website and download diagnostic software,
that may tell you the exact problem or may do nothing.
