i cant open a compressed,password protected file i got in
my email.im using windows 98 and winzip.
 
No, it's that your not posting in the right place. You not going to get
very good help for Windows 98 when posting in an Windows XP Newsgroup. Not
that many people use Windows 98 that post here.

hard. Ive been lurking for a few days now and have seen
you handle problems far,far more difficult than this with
little effort.Too bad we all cant be computer literate--
or even competant. Maybe if I keep trying I'll learn to
walk and chew gum at the same time.Again,thank you.

behold it worked. But really Perdida,could'nt you be just
a bit more abusive.Oh,I know, I'll lay down my
crutches,send my guide dog off to play and then maybe you

Do you have the correct password? Are you using the same brand
and version of compression software that originally compressed the
file?
